Cypress Creek Renewables Expanding Their Energizing Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program

Cypress Creek Renewables has proudly announced that they will be awarding up to $135,000 in scholarship money in 2024 through their annual Energizing Tomorrow Leaders Scholarship. This year, scholarships are being awarded to students in 27 counties. The scholarship recipients will receive a non-renewable scholarship of $1,000 for one year, which can be used for tuition, housing, or books and materials required for their program of study.

Who Is Eligible?

To be eligible recipients for 2024 must be graduating high school seniors who attend school within the boundaries of one of the following counties: Pinal County, AZ; Elbert County, CO; Pueblo County, CO; Boone County, IL; Davidson County, NC; Granville County, NC; Person County, NC; Scotland County, NC; Luna County, NM; Lander County, NV; Jefferson County, NY; Suffolk County, NY; Carbon County, PA; Clarion County, PA; Erie County, PA; Somerset County, PA; Venango County, PA; Grundy County, TN; Madison County, TN; Dallas County, TX; Freestone County, TX; Galveston County, TX; Hidalgo County, TX; Robertson County, TX; Tarrant County, TX; Klickitat County, WA; and Yakima County, WA. 

Scholarships are available for students pursuing 4-year, 2-year, or certificate programs at accredited community colleges or universities. While all eligible students are welcome to apply, preference will be given to applicants interested in pursuing a career in the renewable energy industry or a STEM-related field. The scholarship program is open to students attending public, charter, and private schools, or those who are home-schooled within the eligible counties’ boundaries.
