• Work as a team to describe what poverty is like in the community.
• Investigate economic class differences.
• Identify the cause of poverty.
• Learn how to transition to self-sufficiency.
• Learn how to navigate the worlds of work and school.
• Gain skills to identify and build resources.
• Prepare a plan for a better future.
• Learn the importance of increasing your social resources.
• Receive a renewed sense of hope.
